Cutting long straight cuts in sheet metal has never been easier than with TOUGH MASTER’s TM-IAS10 Aviation Snip. This handy tool is made from premium Cr-Mo steel that is processed with high frequency heat treatment and CNC wave serrations for aggressive shearing action, as well as high resistance to tooth breakage and longer blade life. The straight cut aviation snip has a special processed axial bolt to extend the tool’s service life and offers one-handed locking thanks to an automatic snap latch. These aviation tin snips are comfortable to use over long periods, too, with a TPR ergonomic handle that prevents slippage. A valve-grade steel return spring provides trouble-free cutting and superior durability, while a blade ruler guarantees high precision. Cut using the drywall construction tool with more handle force to the cutting blades for significantly less fatigue during use. These heavy duty aviation snips can cut 1.2mm carbon steel and 0.7mm stainless steel as well as hard materials such as metal wire, keel, aluminum, sheet metal, thin PVC pipe, and square steel pipe. Reliable and robust construction is provided by reinforced rivets. This product meets industry specifications ANSI/ASME B107.16-1998 and DIN 6438/11.71.
