How to use the TOUGH MASTER TM-AC270DW Portable Air Cooler
Once unboxed, the TM-AC270DW is really simple to operate. Let's show you how!
Step #1: The Perfect Spot
Find a suitable place for the air cooler to sit in your house or workplace, close to a UK power outlet.
You could have it in the living room...
...or greet your guests with a breeze in the hallway!
Step #2: Filling Your Water Tank
Fill with water. The tank can be easily located on the bottom of the cooler at the back. Ensure it is filled up by no more than 1/3 of the tank, and that it is somewhere above MIN but below MAX.
If you want to add the included ice packs, freeze for a few hours or overnight before inserting them in the tray.

Step #3: Starting Up
Switch on the machine. You can do this by pressing the power button on the display or the remote control. The cooler will work at low speed.
Press the red ON/OFF button
Step #4: Learning the Controls
It is important to understand how to use the cooler in order to get the best possible airflow for you so that you are comfortable.

Pay attention to the following:
- Pressing ON/OFF again will shut down the machine.
- The SPEED button will change to medium speed; press again for high, and again for low.
- The WIND button will change the operating mode. Press once for sleep, again for nature, and once more for normal mode.
- The TIMER button can be pressed once to stop working after 30 minutes. Press it again for 1 hour, and multiple times for up to 7.5 hours (maximum).
- Press the SWING button once to oscillate air blinds.
- Press the COOLER button the first time for the Cool System (humidifier & purifier) to operate. Press a third time to turn the mode back to Normal.
Step #5: Find the Right Setting and Relax
Once you know how to use the controls, select the right setting for your needs. Then, sit back and relax! Your job here is done.
